10 Provinces Special: Canada Rocks

Today is my birthday and in keeping with our tradition of posting party songs on the weekend, I thought today we could showcase some awesome Canadian music to get you psyched. Initially we were going to go the camp route and features lots of "classic" Canadian rock ala Trooper and Loverboy, but I think we'll save that for a... er... special occasion.

Instead, here are some Canadian tunes that have become modern classics and actually do rock. These are songs that lift my spirits every time I hear them and make everyone in the room want to get funky. Do you know why these songs have that effect? Because Canada rocks.
