This is something you can count on

The last …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead CD was released over a year ago, back in January of 2005. As we all wait patiently for a new release, did anyone manage to get the imported version of Worlds Apart?

It includes two live bonus tracks from a show in Chicago: Aged Dolls from Madonna and Richter Scale Madness from their self-titled debut. These guys rock out pretty hard but I have never seen them live (Trick has, smug Trick). Hopefully these songs will portray their live essence for us and some day we can all go to a …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead concert together. Enjoy!

Probably one of my most favouritest bands ever. I have indeed managed to catch them live twice and recommend others do so as well. They're pretty unique in that setting, because all of the polish and production of the albums gets tossed out the window when they hit the stage. Guitars tend to be out of tune and vocals tend to be slightly off key, but nobody cares, because in spite of any flaws, they certainly know how to bring the rock. It's pure catharsis and a lot of fun.
