But it's a long time and you're not home.

Yes it’s true my U2 spot isn’t that soft. I have become quite a fan of Bedouin Soundclash. I honestly haven’t cracked that CD out for a listen for a month or so, but it is all coming back to me now…

Like Trick said, they are from Toronto, they actually met at Queens. They are guitarist Jay Malinowski, bassist Eon Sinclair and drummer Pat Pengelly They previously had Brett Dunlop as a djembe player (for the first album). They first came acrossto me as a straight up reggae band but after hearing them live I could tell that they didn’t want to be seen this way. They rocked pretty hard on one particular Clash cover. They have appeared on the Warped Tour, toured the UK and even had their song in a Zellers commercial.

The first song is off their first album Root Fire. They did a great live version of it at the show and later remarked on how much they liked that song. They said were going to redo it for their third album, but more rockin’. The other two are favorites of mine from their second album Sounding a Mosaic.
