right across the cul de sac

Over the Hedge was originally a comic strip written by Michael Fry and T. Lewis. It tells the story of a raccoon and a turtle coming to terms with the fact that their woodlands home is being overtaken by suburbs.

The movie adaptation is being released this Friday and features voices from Bruce Willis, Gary Shandling, Wanda Sykes, Steve Carell, William Shatner and yes, Avril Lavigne. The Soundtrack is done as a joint effort of songs by Ben Folds and instrumentals by Rupert Gregson-Williams. Here are some of the new Ben Folds tracks. Enjoy!

Yeah, "better". you have to remember this one was adapted for a movie for mostly kids in mind. i find most of the lyrical changed quite funny.

Ben Folds and William Shatner together again? Yay!!! I love their cover of Common People - I really do - it's crazy but it's also pretty great.
